Oh yes, you are reading it correctly. Clean eating Hobnobs recipe. We dare to say it tastes even better than the original product. It has a beautiful crunch, gentle sweetness in the biscuits and topped with raw chocolate. Dreams do come true, dont they...at least the clean eating ones do.
The traditional Hobnobs are made with the following:
Rolled Oats (30%), Milk Chocolate (25%) [Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Mass, Dried Skimmed Milk, Dried Whey (Milk), Butter Oil (Milk), Vegetable Fats (Sal and/or Shea, Palm), Emulsifier (Soya Lecithin, E476), Natural Flavouring], Wholemeal Wheat Flour (16%), Sugar, Vegetable Oil (Palm), Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate, Ammonium Bicarbonate), Salt

In this clean eating hobnobs recipe we have used raw chocolate, however if you are not on our 3 Month Clean Eating challenge you could use classic dark chocolate or dark chocolate chips. The difference between raw chocolate and normal chocolate is the ingredients used. We will put you down the ingredients and see for yourself:
Traditional dark chocolate ingredients (Tesco Plain Dark 85% chocolate):
Cocoa Mass, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder, Emulsifier (Sunflower Lecithins), Flavouring
Raw Chocolate ingredients (we love Ombar Raw Dark 72%):
raw cacao*, cocoa butter*, coconut sugar*, Lactobacillus acidophilus. *certified organic
You see the difference? Raw chocolate uses raw cacao compare to fat reduced cocoa powder and cocoa mass, coconut sugar rather then normal white sugar and there is no emulsifier or flavouring in raw chocolate. Sold? We are! Of course this is still a treat, so should be enjoyed in moderation.
